As much of a bashing as he gets, I think he is quite brilliant. He is as much of a performer as a magician, and he plays off people's reactions. The more anti-blaine stuff he gets in the media, the bigger a frenzy his stunt attracts, which further fuels his success.

its all an illusion!!! I'm just waiting for the documentry describing how he scammed people like the one with him stuck in ice. Its more fun watching those than it is watching the "action" in the first place.
