I love them!

Anyone see Puerto Rico hammer the US team in Basketball last night? It was great!

I was watching Gymnastics last night too, I think it's amazing. How do these girls do stuff like that? The beam is so thin, how can they land on it when they do all those turns? I like the floor the best. Men's gymnastics is better though, especially the rings. :-) By the way, does anyone else think the judges are really really harsh? What do you have to do to get a good score? A girl yesterday did what I thought was a perfect floor routine, it was difficult and she did it almost perfectly, yet she got 9.425 or something! I'd like to see the judges do it!

The judges are usually retired gymnasts and coaches, as far as I know.

Gymnastics is the dullest sport in the Olympics, for me. Well, except for the pointlessness that is beach volleyball. I love the rowing, swimming, and especially the athletics. Two weeks of sport which isn't football. It's great.

I can't stop watching it, i think it's amazing! I like watching sport every now and again, but i always find with the olympics that I can't turn away!

Fave olympic moments so far:

-the 8.5 stone thai female who won the weight lifting yesterday. she is the first thai female to win a medal for her country.

-the puerto rican men's basketball team defeating the american dream team. watching there fall from stardom and dominance especially at the hands of puerto rico was a wonderful sight. the cockiness of american basketball needed to be shown its place.

I'm not sure which one of them said it, but I heard it and I said, 'well, you can all just sit right there in the milk as far as I'm concerned, until I find out which one of you said it.' Mass Punishment--the idea is to turn them against eachother." -Emily Krueger...my fave Jersey Girl!

Thank goodness we have the Internet because between the Olympics and all the other crap on TV - I'd probably be having a root canal to alleviate boredom.

It's only two weeks every four years, whereas we have to suffer bloody Neighbours every day the rest of the time.
