Your psycho terrorist reference isn't so much offensive to catholics as it is to Irish people as a whole, as its clearly them you are refering to.

Ah well, I'll not complain this time, as no now this thread will soon flourish with raging unregistered users.

You have my sympathy on that one

Since the Church of Scotland is Presbyterian, surely you'd be a Cathoterian ... the meaning of which term I am scared to imagine.

True, considering most non-Irish Catholics are monarchists, thus making one of the options bordering on the ridiculous.

Nonetheless, we must always take the risk of "offensiveness" with a grain of salt. Light-heartedness is a quality that is sadly lacking in too many people these days.

Was that sarcasm? I'm a bit slow on the uptake, plus it's hard to tell on an internet forum

i think the catholics poll reflects the utter elite vulgarity of those intellectual types who gets a kick out of criticising everything with their smartass words and comments. i am a catholic and was greatly offended by it.

next time try and be more f**king considerate when making such polls in the future.

LOOK asshole.

i am catholic. i hate football. i despise secrarianism.

but i enjoy a good joke.

grow up... your actual religion is a personal thing... between you and god. who gives a fuck what i say... it does not affect your relationship with god...

in fact by making light of religion we stop eejits taking it seriously... because those who take religion seriously end up thinking it is their relationship with their religious organisation is more important than their relationship with god.

taking religion seriously is what leads to bigotry... laughing about it is what stops bigotry.
