May I be the first to use the sinner to congratulate the fine lady on her appointment to Schools' Secretary on the Board of Ten

Sodomises Little Girls.

Actually, I think that it stands for Sara Laurence Goodwin, which is much less exciting.

Thank You

Well thanks everyone.

And of course - to everyone who is interested in Schools, there is a competition in January at which many helpers will of course, as always, be needed.

If you are interested in Schools, please do email me at SLG5.

The SLG does stand for Sara Laurence Goodwin, by the way. I like children. But not like that.

Technically, I don't think that I can sodomise girls.

Then you aren't trying. It's illegal, in any event.

I think he was alluding to the definition that one sometimes encounters. The definition that states sodomy is solely an activity for men.

Or maybe he just prefers the term pedicatio.

There was a time when "sodomy" referred to any act of homosexual intercourse, regardless of gender. Hence the validity of Mr Plant's greatest line, as he sat down in Lafferty's and affirmed, "I have more than a passing interest in anal sodomy".

I believe that in certain parts of the US the term sodomy refers to any act of sexual deviancy. Such as not sleeping with your first cousin.

And yet you can chat up inanimate objects such as busts.

I think several women might dispute that their busts are inanimate.
