Mace Round 2

Postby CorporationDialectica on Sun Jan 14, 2007 5:46 pm

Rounds are prefered to be hosted between 5th and 9th of feb as far as possible. Obviously the St Andrews semester break makes things tricky dates wise.

Edinburgh wish to host their round on the 30th - if all the teams participating agree then i think it should happen then.

Rounds cannot be held any earlier than 29/1/7 and all rounds must be finished by 9/2/7

No first props, but bring on multiple rooms of death! Does anyone have any news on the date of mine and Chris's round in Aberdeen? I've tried to find out but to no avail. I'm just worried that it will clash with the semis of the Courier, which are both during week 1. I've agreed to chair both, but would like to give Sally and Kizzy a definite answer!

Mace Rounds Are:

The Aberdeen round will be on Tuesday 6th February in the Old Senate Room, King's College, Old Aberdeen, starting at 7:15pm (note, not 7:30pm!).

GUU's leg will be held on Tuesday February 6th, at 7:30pm

The Dundee round is going to be on Thursday 8th. It will be somewhere in the Tower, if people just wait in the Tower Reception someone will meet them there. We plan to start at 7.30pm but if that causes anyone problems with trains then let them know

The rescheduled Edinburgh Mace round will be Monday Feb 5th at 7:30pm in Teviot Debating Hall (top floor).

Cheers,
-Doug

P.S. ssdc.org.uk has all this information. I would strongly encourage all those interested in intervarsity debating to go there now and again.
