Training Semester Two

Training will kick off on the 7th of February at Venue 2 and will run from 2PM-5PM. It will continue for every following Wednesday during term.

Advanced training times/dates, are still in the pipeline, depending on when reservations get back to me.

Also, mark your calendars for Thursday 1st March, as Central Missouri University will be stopping by on their British tour. The plan is to hold a few practice debates against them.

I can whole-heartedly recomend the folk from Missouri, they are always a really good laugh last year once we'd done a real debate to please the coaches we then did shot debating on random motions with different pint chasers. Fun all round.

Just to reiterate announcements in LPH and last-week's training: this Wednesday's session will be devoted to trials for the European championships. All those wishing to trial as a speaker or a judge must attend.

At the request of our colleagues from Missouri, we will be meeting up at 7:00PM in the Union Bar, on Thursday the 1st of March before decamping to the Buchanan building for a serious debate followed my a humourous debate.
