Elections

Postby Dickie on Wed Mar 14, 2007 8:27 pm

There are nasty things called elections coming up on Friday. I am shocked that there has not been a single mention of this on this thread!

It's only an election, Dickie, it's not like it's an IV.

We are advertising any election questions to go on the elections board. There seems to be a complete dearth not only of debates questions but to anyone in general who isn't a sab. If you wish to ask one Dickie by all means go ahead.

---oops, should have perhaps checked the elections board before posting that :)

I know, but what should one wear to vote?

Nothing special, just subfusc; although your trencher should have the appropriate tassle if voting for year representative.

I think the answer is pretty obvious - disguises. To match how you look on the many ID cards you've fraudulently acquired over the years so as to subvert the honesty and truthfulness behind Union elections.

Oh no, wait, that's not you, that's...

Ah in the good old days... "VOTE EARLY VOTE OFTEN" was one mantra used.

Congratulations to Tom Cahn, the new SSC Debates Officer. Commiserations to Chris, it looks like it was a very close race with two strong candidates. All the best to Tom for the next year!

Indeed, my congratulations to Tom, and commiserations to Chris, a fight well fought. And, now, on with the plans for next year.
