Resignation Letter

Postby kdc4 on Tue Jan 22, 2008 12:56 am

This is an open letter to the Board of Ten.

*******************************************

All,

Hope you all enjoyed a pleasant New Year/Christmas/Worlds. Best wishes as you
enter the season of revision and exams.

I write to resign with immediate effect from the Board of Ten. I have greatly
enjoyed most of my two and half years on BoT, but I feel that I need to move
on. Final year exams are nearly upon me, and my postgraduate plans are
entirely contingent upon strong results, both now and in May.

I do not intend to disengage from the society, and I hope to be a resource for
the new Chief Whip and the BoT generally, to serve in whatever capacity they
deem most appropriate.

All the Best,
-Doug

Good on you, Doug. Much better to resign at a time like this than end up having to neglect your studies or, worse, your degree, if academic marks are what you need to get you where you want.

On behalf of, well, myself, but doubtless to be echoed by everyone who's known you in the Society, thank you for your many years of valuable service, and all the best for the future.
