Riding equipment?

Hey,
i'll be starting at st. andrews in the fall, and i'm really interested in trying out for the riding team, if not at least being active in the club. what equipment shoudl i bring? obviously helmet, gloves, boots, chaps, and all that, but should i bring my saddle?

any info on this would be much appreciated thanks.

p.s. i'm an overseas student and if i do need to take my saddle, would it be better to ship it or try to bring it with me?

No, you won't need your saddle or any other tack, just hat/boots/jods etc. (If serious about team obv will need show jacket, stock shirt & whites as well as others to train in). Even things like spurs/stick etc you could prob borrow or pick up somewhere here.
