hey I'm coming 2 st andrews this weekend (eeeek) and was wondering what stuff is avaiable to do backstage (dsming etc) I'v just finished scottish youth theatres technical theatre and stage management course which was ace. any1 got any info?

The Union has its own Ents Crew, which operates the lights and sound in the two venues (called "Venue 1" and "Venue 2" - rather obvious). They run events including bops (discos), gigs (live bands), performances, theatre (when asked by the production managers) etc. Or you could join Mermaids (theatre only), who have their own lighting and sound people (I think).
