A Good Bet

Man Utd are 19/20 on www.willhill.com to beat Celtic tomorrow in a friendly match - this is the same Celtic who got humped 5-1 by Liverpool the other day.

My money's on it already, but thought I'd let you all know!

how is a less than even money shot worth betting on? The return for a win is only significant if youpost a huge bet, and if you lose the bet (as often happens in football) then you lose your post :P The smart betting money is on celtic, by such a long way...

I think they were about 3/1...

I was blinded by Liverpool's trouncing of them, especially as, even though I'm a Liverpool fan, I couldn't see any way Man Utd couldn't beat a team that Liverpool had beaten 5-1 only days before.

Also in my defence, in the identical fixture last year I bet on Celtic at a similar price and Man Utd won!

Maybe the lesson here is that I should only bet on poker where I can utilise my immense skill.......

Must bet JESUS
