What is this "FaceBook" thing that seems to be making the rounds in St. Andrews? Someone tried to convince me that joining would be a good thing, but I remain sceptical.

It's a bit like friends reunited, but free and for existing students as well as alumni. It can also be used as a procrastinating tool
