Right, well, thanks to the indolence of committees past who shall remain nameless, I didn't know how to book a room. As a result, the Salad Bowl is fully booked up for this symmester. I'm still hoping
we can get Venue 2 in the Union, but we can't negotiate that till Week One and use it untill Week Three. So, for the first week, we'll be meeting in the Lounge of Mansfield opposite the Union at 8pm on Monday, which will be crowded, and we'll have to use a TV, so bear with us if it's rubbish, we'll do better later in the year.

So, venue crises, aside, this symmester, we'll be showing the series of Cowboy Bebop. Anyone who can't make it the Societies Fair but wants to be on the mailing list, please get in contact with me ASAP.

I wouldn't feel too bad about the room Patrick, apparantly to get last years time in the Salad bowl we would have to have been q'ing from about 7 in the morning on Monday!

And many thanks to all those who signed up at the societies fair, all 114 of you! A record! The first night may therefore be, er, crowded. However we will pester the union until they give us somewhere good (like venue 1/2) or give us enough spondoolies to rent somewhere (like one of the Physics lecture theatres/Screen 2/3 in NPH).

Well, that aside, it is a crushing blow to the society. As I recall, we've been having this problem since Porkov's latter years as da Pres. The Salad Bowl is truly a boon visited on those societies quick enough to book it up. The importance of the video projection system there cannot be underestimated. Trigun... on a projection screen... mana falling from heaven!

Since I'm here, I may as well ask the current society President: has Thomas Maund, the second President of the society, been given his honourary Life Membership yet? Oh, and does he visit Project Anime from time to time? (I know he's already graduated long ago)

hello, just cos i'm mildly paranoid, there hasn't been a meeting for a while has there? I know theres the whole room issue and what-not but just to be absolutely sure the next meeting will be when? cos i'm quite looking forward to getting to see cowboy bebop... and procrastionating generally...

Kinda, it requires co-ordination with Sci-Fi and we haven't taken the logical step of meriging the committees completely yet... If Sciffy can tell us when they aren't using the room then we will nick it.

Well I'm actually a member, and the VP of Project Anime is also the VP of Scifi, but we still don't know about rooms and stuff. This should indiacte how organised things are
