Need help

Hi, i'm new here and i need some help. Does anyone know or remember an anime back in the early 90s about a group of samurai? Is kind of like Ronin Warriors but is not. Is the same idea where they can combine together to form one warrior. I can't remember the whole story except there are 7 warriors in different color armour. it will be a great help if anyone remember the title or know of any site that feature the anime. thanks a lot!
