Well it looks sweet.

Well I bought it, and we're showing it, and the burning question is "why didn't you warn me?" I like it, but dear God was I off target with that line!

I liked it too but it was rather brutal...if you wanted more anime like hellsing and berserk you could've just said, you know ^_-

Although i am hoping that this one has a better story line going for it than those two...it's promising though...

You take that back! It's nothing like Hellsing.

OMG. Dee's right. It's nothing like Hellsing. Now and Then, Here and There is brilliant, for starters. ^_^

There's no need to sound so shocked about it.

I just meant on the violence level...not that i've got anything against fighting and violence...but one day i think we should consider the idea of an...i dunno...*cheerful* anime? ^_-

I've been asking for "Kiki's Delivery Service" for quite a while now, but no-one listens. Ditto, "Excel Saga".

Excel Saga is a comedy anime all right, but I wouldn't really call it cheerful. It ends with what I guess is a parody of End of Evangelion.

If you want a schedule for this term, you know that what we need is a committee meeting.

I take that back. I now find as irritating, if not twice as irritating, as Hellsing. Unless the final DVD is a dramatic improvement... eBay my old friend - we meet again.

So did the final disk redeem the series enough for you? I felt it had less trite moralising but more contrived plotting.

I'm still swithering. I don't see myself watching it again, but I'm reluctant to sell it when I know I'll not make anything like the amount I paid for it, and it might grow on me - you never know.

I think if it weren't for the second showing I'd be reasonably happy, even though the ending was a little contrived as you say.
