Clone Wars

at the risk of getting a "That's not anime/manga so piss off and die"... Clone Wars

i've seen clips of it, and it looks pretty stylish. It's going to be shown in its entirety as a feature on the morning that hall opens. Bugger. must get packing done on the firday night so i can watch cartoons instead of rushing around like a mad thing.
I hold an element of surprise

I saw the feature version, was excellent. Heavily sylised, some very iconic images (Anakin holding his first "evil" lightsabre) and a very cool set up for a major Ep 3 villain. Any Star Wars or animation fan should see it.

I have a DVD copy of the uncut version (ie there are no episode breaks). As it's not anime per se I doubt that it will be shown by the society. Naturally I'll loan it out to interested parties.

The Society's shown animation that's not anime in the past - most recently Soul Music - so it might be worth mentioning it in the new year.

True, but we are anime soc, not cartoon soc. However if we run out of stuff to show I could dig it out, but I'd rather show Megas XLR :D

To be honest, I'm regretting showing Soul Music, mainly because I don't think we should be "CartoonSoc", so people who want to watch Belleville Rendez-Vous,tough, that's FilmSoc's job!

The Society does have Transformers: The Movie, however, but that's practically anime...
