I like the sound of the geek night.. but then I would!
Hows about:

Select your weapon night: Caer Caledon vs. Rocksoc.

Games night: fill one side of the room with Xboxes, LANS, Playstations, etc. and the other with Boardgames and drinking games. Plenty of 'Video Game Metal' to get everyone in the mood!

Crossover night: Everyone gets paired up with someone of the opposite gender, and they then swap clothes.

Slave auction: Cliché, but why not?

I found TEH best icon!

It's a PPP style one with the Doctor coming out the Tardis and going "bother bother bother!" to a Dalek! rofl.

*rofl's subside...*

Yeah, every night is geek night with me T_T

Video Game Night sounds FTWish in theory but probably wouldn't be practical...leave it for WiredSoc. And besides I'd dish out hot meaty slabs of pwnage on Gears ;)

Geek night sounds good...but what would it entail?

My personal geek nights involve: Doctor Who watching, Torchwood watching, lamenting the fact that John Barrowman is gay, Listening to/watching Hitchhiker's Guide, Drawing parallels and connections, discussing whether Luke or Anakin is the "Chosen One" (And how "Only a Sith deals in absolutes" is a bit of a paradox) and some old skool N64/Gameboy playing. And eating a lot.

Just a regular night in really...

And now, to return to Voltaire... :(

In that case I vote Princessness. And I go for Princess Leia, thereby encompassing geekdom too

I still want to see a pitched battle in the middle of the dancefloor... that would kick so much ass.

A proper geeky night is spent in a hotel room at a convention. Watching Doctor Who (The episode 'Dalek' for those that care about such things) on telly and then shrieking 'GALLIFREY GO BOOM!' at people you've only ever spoken to on the internet down the phone.

That was the pinnacle of my geekdom. (Man, I wish the days I could afford to go to conventions.) Now I just sit on the internet and come up with bizarre theories about Ianto secretly being the Face of Boe, or Mr Saxon being the Master (or Romana!). True, yo.

(Now I just help run DocSoc. In all seriousness, if there was a RockSoc Geek Night, we'd be happy to come and support the geekdom!)

I hear it is some sort of synthetic substance which humans use to fabricate things with nowadays...

I'd be all in favour of cold, hard steel... or wood (lol! spot the in-your-endo there...) but I doubt the union would permit such... erm... fun.

We could probably double the weapon night with the geek night. It'd be the same thing, except people would randomly spout off that their weapons are in fact '+5 Cold Iron Longswords of Jez-smiting', and the like.
