I assume the Ents will be Enting, though I would be happy to help out with all my experience (AKA Sabre last year!) and I plan to bring disks and use the anniversary of my emergence into your mortal world to blackmail people!

When you say union-run rock, does that mean "union-rock", or proper rock?

It means Union-run Rock. So Ents doing proper rock.

BTW do you need a Facebook event devised?

it'd be appreciated,

we aren't doing this for ourselves, we could have easily just sat up there with a few pints on our own, listening to some decent music. However, seeing the enjoyment had by some people when i played slightly heavier stuff on Tuesday night at the BOP. we thought it would be a good idea to get a rock bop concept going

The bop isn't a place to get my favourite music ROCK! played, and i'd like to have one night where i can just let myself go and play what i want to hear without having to play that chart and cheese pish

It's either that or hear the "fantastic" rendition of Ace of Spades by Jamie Newton at the Karaoke :)

I've not been myself recently..

I've been practising some audioslave to do at the karaoke - might be worth a listen ;)

I have to admit I was pleasantly suprised with most of the music last night - some good track in there - although ending on Stacy's Mom was not the best thing to do in my opinion :P

glad to hear so many people had a great time, and i was surprised how many people turned up considering it was organised with less than 27 hours notice :)

as for stacey's mom, we were just playing that for the banter. i had considered for whom the bell tolls, but then we would have over run time wise and got a beating from Mandy.

tactical fade outs are awesome in some respects, but do you not think it would have ruined such an awesome song by fading out half way through?

it's like playing only the 4 minute edit of Bat out of Hell. an act that should be punishable by death.

unless it is in the bop dearest, in which it should be encouraged
