Wacken 2008?

Georgina and I have just got back from Wacken (THEE metal festival, which is in Germany) and it was splendid! I wasn't entirely convinced about the line-up beforehand, but in the event, it didn't matter. The festival was made by the ridiculous number of friendly people we met. Additionally, it had good sound; a beer garden; none of the usual festival campsite geenery and gimpaticism, just good lighted hearted fun involving waterguns and melons; surprisingly ok toilets; and a big burning goat. And, in any case, the sight of 70,000 metalheads is quite spectacular. What more could anyone want?

I say all this because we'll certainly be going back next year and we thought it would be cool to do a rocksoc trip of some description... anyone interested?
