Rocksoc Live! - The Second Coming, December 1st

As some of you may have heard/seen Rocksoc is hosting its first live music night this coming Saturday in association with Musfund.

Its 8/8.30pm for doors opening depending on how soundchecks go and we've got 4 bands lined up for you to enjoy. £3/£4 and i promise it'll be worth.

The line-up is....

Rich Gordon - Some of you may have seen him before, one of St Andrews own. Descrobes himself as 'A guitar, a man, an i-pod.' For all those into guitar virtuoso-ness (word inventing) he's not one to miss.

Rape Ahoy! - St Andrews own grindcore twosum. 2 retards and a laptop, more offense than you shake a stick out.

Man Of The Hour - No nonsense metal from Edinburgh, recently supported Panic Cell on their UK tour, also supported Black Label Society! Guarenteed headbanging!

And finishing us off....

Fight The Bear - Shropshires skankers, will definitely bring the whole night to a dancing bouncing end.


Hope to see you all there, if we can make this night kick ass the better chance the union will let us have bigger and better events and oh boy do we have a few bands lined up if given the chance!

Glad you enjoyed it! From an organisers point of view it was immense, a good night had by all. As a performer it ws pretty sweet and awesome to see all the Rocksocers up for a bit of grindcore madness even with the technical hitches. And finally as a Rocksocer it kicked ass, the atmosphere was awesome, the bands all rocked ass and i loved it.

In terms of another one, we may have a date or two planned ready for next semester. We're well up for band recommendations as well, dont want to keep using same ones.
