Right, for anyone who's ever spoken to me ever they've probably heard about this a million times. So I'm gonna say it again Coalesce is fookin' excellent!
There are certain people among you who MUST come over for this (you know who you are).
Here's the e-mail I just got from the guy that runs it...
As some of you are no doubt aware, Coalesce is in the
process of calling it quits after four years as
Dundee’s premier alternative club night. However, we
have one last send off night, the details of which are
listed below:
Coalesce presents:
“I Love It When A Plan Comes Together”
The Last Ever Coalesce
Last night of term - FRIDAY, 12TH OCTOBER
PETE’S BAR, DUNDEE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION
10PM-2.30AM, £3
Already planned for these nights are exceptional
giveaways – we’ve got loads of CD albums, CD singles,
t-shirts, patches, badges, and stickers etc to give
out.
We’d love to see as many people as possible coming
along to celebrate our last night with us!
In addition, we’ve set up a new web site. Featuring
loads of old photos from the past four years. The
link for it can be found below. We’d love people to
add their own photos from Coalesce – they can be
uploaded onto the site or just e-mail us at this
address if you want to give us photos to scan in.

Club nights
The two new alternative nights at DUSA now run on
alternate Fridays.
Epic leans more towards the metal side of things but
with enough variety to keep our old crowd happy.
Their next night is on FRIDAY, 28th NOVEMBER
Blah Blah Blah tends to lean more towards the indie
and alternative side of things. Their next night is
on FRIDAY, 21st NOVEMBER
More info can be found here:

University of Abertay, Dundee Rock Society.
This is in the process of being resurrected with the
aim of putting on live bands, club nights etc. If you
are interested in being a part of this society please
e-mail Alan Graham at 0013089@abertay.ac.uk
The more people who join the society the more money we
will get from Abertay union to use for events so we’d
be grateful if any Abertay students who are interested
get involved. Also involved in this is Engage
vocalist and local gig promoter, Paul Ross and lanky
Coalesce DJ Neil Quinney.
