I'm sure people would if this board actually had a point. How many threads have you seen on the Sinner about science (with the exception of the occasional - OMG the sky's turned green!)? Not enough to warrant an entire board.

Oh, and attempts to control discussion on the internet always end in failure. It's the equivalent of saying don't press the big red button. There's always one idiot out there determined to do it.

surely censorship is only going to alienate those who do post on the board? there's not much going on, so whats the deal with people posting often humorous responses? i can understand the removal of the "Jobby" thread, but the magnets one!? harsh in the extreme

I don't mind jokes, but just being vulgar is pointless.

i wasnt meaning to be vulgar...i realise not everyone has the same idea of what jobby means....but from where im from and in my circle of friends its not an offensive term...

was merely trying to lighten the mood..sorry if any offense was caused but posts on this board are very rarely about actual science so i thought it wouldnt be a problem....

and indeed you seem to have started a thread about threads....now you cant tell me thats a science can you?????
