Some news from the Chemical Society
This Thursday, prof. A. Mills from Strathclyde university will be giving a lecture on "Intelligent Inks" in the Purdie building, Lecture Theatre C. The lecture will start at 17:15 with refreshments being served before at 16:45 in the Chemistry Common room.
Other Lectures this week
School colloquia will have Prof. V. Aggarwal, from Bristol university, talking about "new methods for organic synthesis". This will take place on the wednesday, 2nd of march, at 16:00 in Lecture theatre C(purdie)
Solid State Discussion Group will have Dr. J. Thomson, who recently arrived in st andrews from dundee university, giving a lecture on "In-situ ammonia production from vehicle exhaust emissions: a real time analysis". This will take place on Thursday (3rd) at 13:00 in lecture theatre D (purdie)
Chemsoc Annual Dinner-Dance will take place on Saturday 12th March. Tickets are being sold in the Chemsoc Shop all this week for £20 (members)and £22 (non members). Tickets include a three course meal at the Scores hotel followed by a ceilidh by Nackytoosh.
