Righto - this is the deal.

I have a server which will accept clients on the 1.12.0 - 1.12.1 - 1.12.2 clients, otherwise rinestall and patch.

I live on North Street - you may drop by and pickup a copy of WoW if you want!

122 North Street - or gime a call 07886962370 or txt me and we can organise me dropping of a disc and setting it all up.

Its fairly simple - you change one file - and your off, and the best thing is - its all working perfect!

And - testing has happened for people in halls - It is now definately working in halls - and again is fairly easy to get working! Good news on all front - get in touch guys.

Any chance that you could tell me how to use this server?? I already run a legal version of WoW (For anyone who is interested, I play on Zenedar, as thebrookster oddly enough). I have no port problems as I live in private accomodation. Contact email is standrian@lycos.com (This is also an msn address).

1.12.2.6005.

Will this affect me being able to play WoW on the official server? I play with some mates, so would appreciate being able to play on either/or.

Yeah - basically, change the realmlist.wtf file to replace the eu.login bit with 81.86.52.63 and then send me the username and password you want to armcompservices@yahoo.co.uk and i will add you to the database- soon i shall have this all done through the web btw.
Try it out - thats a newer client than i have but it should work- when you play with the public change the wtf file back to the old line!

Hope this helps - same goes with other people!

Success!

Yes you can! You can come along to our next committee meeting at 8pm in the Union Main Bar on Wednesday (we're generally in the wee triangular section near Beatons) or tackle a committee member (http://wired.st-and.ac.uk/combody) if you see them.

i couldn't play every night, but maybe 3-4 a week?

My apologies guys, unfortunately last week I rather foolishly attempted to re-arrange the front end of a wood-wagon with my little Polo. Oddly enough the wood-wagon won, and I am now recuperating away from my beloved PC, which I will probably not see for at least the next month or two.

Sorry :(

not looked at the sinner for ages now, and then I see this thread, looks nice.

If it's still going, or at least going to a certain extent (i guess TBC might have got in the way a bit) then I'd be interested in having a go.

What kind of stuff can you do with your admin rights? can you change people's level/equip etc etc?

Andy.
