i remember the computer science lab counter strike issues from last year. are we going to be able to play again this year? - (obv not in the lab itself but merely on our personal machines as before)

Yes the server is up and running as before and can still be accessed from inside resnet.
We are currently looking into getting CS Source working

OOH! That sounds fun, though I only have CSS. Is it worth gettiing CS if it is likely source will work? I would not want to be wasting money on something no one else will be using in a few weeks.

Do you need to be in wiredsoc to join in?

iab2 no you dont have to be a member of wiredsoc to join in. for CS just go to favorites and add server wired.st-and.ac.uk:27960

We are having some version issues with CSS atm so if u email me, i can give you a trial of CS.
