Am wondering if anyone can give me some hardware advice for my pc....here goes.

I have a q6600 @ 3.4GHz (hope for more with O.C.) and 4 gigs of DDR2 6400 RAM (2 x 2 gig sticks) but am tempted to get another 4 gigs of RAM. Is it worth it?

What OS are you running? Obviously, you'll need a 64-bit OS to make best use of 8GB of RAM.

I currently have 6GB of RAM - it's nice, I mainly got the extra couple of gigs for virtualisation. I imagine 4GB of RAM is still plenty for most operations these days, though.

running vista home prem 64 bit, so can utilise 8 gigs.

well, i took the plunge, as well as getting this to keep the RAM nice and cool (and some glowy stuff as well......)

Well, as way of an update:

I have the RAM installed now and the PC is quite a bit nippier (getting higher benchmark scores as well ^_^) and overclocking hasn't taken a hit either!

My next task is to lap The CPU as I have some very uneven temps going on , as well as to try and lower temps so i can squeeze that little bit more out of the CPU.
