Hi
I am a student of astronomy in St-Andrews and have come up with an idea for a website which I believe could revolutionise the way science works. The reason I am posting here asking for help is that it is a very large and daunting website, one which I could never build on my own.
I am seeking fellow student web developers/coders to help develop the site and work together on a brand new social networking site. At the moment I cannot pay anyone for their help but maybe we can work on some kind of arrangement where if any profits in the future are made they can be split...
It is an interesting site that requires very strict authentication and verification of its users(possibly some kind of artificial intelligence system). This is really pushing the boundaries of my rather limited knowledge in php/mysql and it has been suggested that Ruby may be a quicker approach.
If you can program or have experience in php, mysql, ruby(on Rails) or flash then please come along and find out more. I am especially interested in finding students interested in AI.
It would be great to get a team together and get the site operational this year and ready for release.
If you are interested and want to know more then come along to the union at 8pm Monday (Pool room) or give me an email at alexg10000 at. gmail.com
Thanks
Alex
