We've had to cancel All Saints because the hall canceled on us at the last minute, so we'll hopefully be putting on a tavern night (at an unspecified date as yet) and will be making Yule even more great. We shall also try to reschedule the feast for next semester. Sorry to anyone that was looking forward to the feast

what's a tavern night?

Tavern nights are an alternative to feasts where instead of loads of courses of different kinds of food there is a table full of different kinds of PIE!!! tables are arranged not in rows but in tavern style-lots of little tables. We play tavern games and drink lots of booze (some of which that has been brewed by our brewers guild). There is the usual storytelling, perhaps playcasting and some bawdy singing by the wenches guild. All in all there is a great tavern atmosphere with quaffing of booze and scoffing of pie.
