I'm not sure her character grew on me at all. In fact, I'd rather have Billy Piper back Can only hope her character has gone some kind of mental make-over since last we met her.

I was hoping I'd misread it as old news last night when I saw it... I woke up and found that, no, it wasn't a dream.

I'm willing to give her a chance, of course - she did grow on me a bit by the end of the episode. Generally, though, she (and particularly her voice) just annoys me. I'm dreading the first time I hear "DOCTOORRRR!" from her.

Maybe this is a ploy to get people to like Martha more - by the time Martha comes back, we'll be so fed up of Donna that we'll embrace her with open arms.

Why is it whenever Geoffrey Palmer appears in Doctor Who he plays characters who only survive for about 45 minutes?
