We've had two fire alarms in the week or so bak, and the food isn't great. Otherwise, it's decent

The food is ok, except like 2 meals every 4 weeks (sweet and sour anything and risotto).

did anyone have that marinated chicken tonight? that was rough, really rough. i ended out scraping as much of the sauce off the chicken and using the grated cheese to disguise any last touch of flavourings of the sauce. i dont eat the friday lunch fish anymore after earlier this year i choked on a small bone or possibly a think piece of white plastic.

edited as i said 'almost choked', changed to 'choked', as i was coughing repeatedly.

The sauce on the marinated chicken was one of the more dreadful things that I've experienced, though still not quite as bad as the sweet and sour.

i just moved in a couple of days ago and as yet i haven't been able to work up the courage to go into the common room by myself, though i really want to...so if you see a small blonde girl wondering in pretending to buy something from the vending machine please, take pity, and invite me over for a game of pool...

Well I think I'm gonna make my way to the common room - I'll keep an eye out!

No chance! I can't play that game to save my life. You'd embarass me.

How are you finding Melville so far?

I cant play either, i was hoping that would be cute and get people to like me...its been ok, probably better if i made the effort to talk to people more! ive gone all shy for some reason..the food's a bit hit and miss, but i seem to have successfully monopolised the T.V...either people just dont watch it or are scared of me, cos i sit there for hours and nobody comes in! Or maybe i really am the only one interested in 60minute makeover with Claire Sweeny. And i wonder why im not making friends....

Well, if you like Neighbours, I'll see you by the TV most evenings.

Is anyone moving into any of the 2 rooms in 8-15 that are free?

I imagine that someone will be moving into the room beside the toilet as quite a lot of work was being done in it towards the end of the exam period.

I have just moved into room 12 last week, and I have been told that there is someone going to be moving into the end room by the toilet sometime this week.
