Is Donaldson pretty much an empty block next year? :S

Postby JM on Sat Jul 30, 2005 9:32 am

Ok Folks, help needed: I know just one person (xcept flatmates) who are going into Donaldson - the one furthest away from any sense of civilisation - so does anyone know of any of their friends that are heading that way in September or am i living in a rather empty block?

thanks v. much.

James

Well I have decided I shall make it noisy...but you never know...it might be full of people with conditional offers...

Hang out in the main building or make friends with people from a different block if it's quiet. I doubt it will be quiet though, the odds of every room in every other flat being occupied by mime artists is close to infinity. So don't worry about it all.

I've heard that they did not manage to get an occupant for every bed in DRA, (hence fee cuts for first years - it's an incentive to lure them in). However, much of what I say, as previously demonstrated, turns out to be absolute shit. But I honestly have heard this.

however, it would be most odd of them to spread out the DRA clan. I honestly doubt that if you're in a flat and or block it will be to a particularly noticable degree 'emptier' than another.
