Aye...we thoughty of that..but its also february...and it would have meant spending unnescessary amountsof money on extra heating....

It's more than you'd think to hire indutrial heaters. Plus Kinkell farm isn't exactly small, so it would a fair old whack of the budget.
They bay is a good venue anyway. Any ball that i've ever been to there has always been good.

You know what, I am sick and tired of the pessimism that is shown/created by people such as 'mohawk'.

People on the commitee try there hardest to organise things.

mohawk if you feel that you would like to pay for heating-go ahead

Further still, you could just NOT turn up because its people like that who just fuck things up and fuck the spirit of such functions.

Not wanting to put a dampener on things, but the cost of hiring Kinkell Farm comes with the heating paid for. I'd be interested to know what the cost of the Bay Hotel was, via e-mail?

Plus, the Bay Hotel ALWAYS hammers you on deposits, as there is always damage to the place.
