Edited due to obvious drunkedness of post.

Basically, do we have to wear one of these mask thingies? With a week's notice, I don't have one, and have absolutely no idea where to get one, or any wish to get one.

Does this mean we won't get in if we don't want to wear a mask?

There will be no dancing.

There will be standing around, and looking uncomfortably at people you met in freshers week wondering if you know their names.

I've sent out a general DRA email - you can come see me anytime this week to get your tickets - just email on jws2 or catch me around DRA.
Nic, I'm sure you'd look great in your jammies :) but make an effort, you'll appreciate it! Masks are not strictly necessary but it's part of the general theme! You'll still get in not wearing one.
Also, I KNOW the drinks are expensive and I have been arguing with them for weeks but at the end of the day it is a 5 star hotel... it will be a great night though.

Yeah and everyone will be trying to get away from the first years, who obviously think that they are better than those who have been here for longer.

They think that they know you, and because theyve seen you on facebook, and therefore know your name, then obviously you are there best friend.

I hate the first years wo live in dra (most of them anyway)

Ah what wonderful cowardice, Mr Unregistered User.

I don't think I'm better than more senior years, neither do I think that more senior years are better than me simply because of their age or time spent at this university.

I'm also a first year (based on number of times matriculated, but not module numbers) thus I hope this dispels your theory.
