Single house?

Does anyone know what the big thing is about the "single house multiple occupancy" signs we now have hanging in out kitchens? what does it mean? only 1 tv licence per house needed or something?

No, they have been around for ages. Its just rules thta house must meet to allow 6 people to stay in it. Like fire doors, number toilets etc.
