As for Ronan, well he has a habit of stealing other people's songs and letting people believe they're his.
See, I knew it was written by Keith Whitley, but I've never actually heard him sing it (despite having grown up listening to country music almost exclusively). That's really interesting.
As for the new Faith Hill, are you talking about the album with the song "Mississippi Girl" on it that came out in 2005? "Fireflies" I think it was called... I liked a few songs off of it, but some of them were not so good. Not worth buying as an album, but certainly worth downloading a few of the songs.
