What is this 'fun' you speak of?

I have 3 weeks of being bored shitless... avoiding family conflict... work (of the menial, but decently paid kind) and also trying to actually learn 4 CS modules.

Woo...

Happy holidays everyone.

Now I remember why I don't live here most of the year...

On the plus side I have Civ 4 working again and I seem to have acquired some money.

On the crap side...I have revision to do, I can't stop sleeping, my friends have all mysteriously disappeared, there's nothing to do and I have a headache. :(, bugger.

The hell?? How come I haven't run into any trouble yet...?

OK, yeh I'm pretty bored, but apparently not enough to start on any work. But there has been minimal conflict (only one warning about 'keeping normal hours'- I slept most of Saturday afternoon cos I'd been up for just about 3 days straight before hand).

We'll see though... we'll see...

hahahahahahahahahahaha!

that was me mocking all of you people living in your villages of fuck all.

now to the point of the thread, my holiday will mostly be made up of revision by day, spending time with family/friends by night. today, monday I've set aside for relaxing, basically slept in till 3.20 to recover from the week of 10 hours sleep all in all. then i spent the remainder eating, bathing, mucking around, and drinking scotch.

I love being home, gottta say, I hated last semester, especially after reading week

Stop your whingeing!

Some of us are still in St Andrews, with nothing to do but washing up.

So far home is... ok. Other than being really cold. On Saturday I was soooo tired, everything from last semester just caught up with me and I was in bed by 8pm, not emerging again til 2pm the next day.
Aiming to do lots of revision this break, to make up for the shitty coursework I did. Hence why I'm on here, obviously...

But there are better pubs in St Andrews.

I Admit, I can get good live music down here at home, and I'm going to a few band nights in the next week were I get to do the photographer thing, and I seem to have a never ending supply of Kit Kats in my house,
But it’s just so cold here!
I miss my hall heater.

I have three weeks ahead of me of quiet revision and spending time with family, that wont be too bad. I'm glad of having a break from St Andrews, I was in need of it. I enjoyed last semester at the beginning but as time went on I wasnt quite so happy. I may even catch up with friedns if I'm feeling adventerous.

And Andrew, whats this good music scene in Annan you speak of? need I remind you of the album Andrew McCallum released?

Kit Kats!!! I have Kit Kats.
And Mathew, Annan has a very good music scean just beacuse it's not music you like dosn't mean it's not good.
McCallum never relased an album.
I think you're just upset that no-one ever asked you to be in a band with them.
:P

And my heater just came on.
YAY!!
