As some of you will know, the motion to change the Hall Constitution was passed last night at the EGM, and due to the RON vote last time, the nominations have now re-opened.
SENIOR STUDENT
Anyone who has previously lived in McIntosh, who is entering their fourth
semester of study and has accepted a place in hall for this coming September is
eligible to run for this position. (You no longer need to be a current resident
to be so.)
All nominations for Senior Student, including the name of a proposer and
seconder (who must be current residents), should be handed in, in writing, to
Louise Hallman in A26 by Monday 16th at 6pm. Hecklings will take place Tuesday
evening at 7.30pm in the Common Room. All residents, current and future, are
encouraged to attend. The election will be held by secret ballot on Wednesday
at lunch and dinner. Only current residents are eligible to vote.
DEPUTY SENIOR STUDENT
Anyone who has previously lived in McIntosh, who is entering their fourth

eligible to run for this positions. You no longer need to be a current resident
to be so.

current residents), should be handed in, in writing, to Louise Hallman in A26
by Wednesday 18th at 8pm for Deputy Senior Student. Hecklings will take place
Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the Common Room. All residents, current and
future, are encouraged to attend. The election will be held by secret ballot
on Friday at lunch and dinner. Only current residents are eligible to vote.
SECRETARY, TREASURER, BALL CONVENOR, SOCIAL CONVENOR & CHARITIES CONVENOR
Any confirmed future residents are eligible to run for the above positions.
Nominations will open soon after the new Senior and Deputy have been elected.
Notification of this will be given out at a later date.
All other Hall Committee positions will be elected in September. Remits of each
of the positions will be posted on the Hall Message board on the Sinner
(Residences/mcintosh) and the Hall Facebook groups

There are no campaign rules save "be nice" and no negative campaigning. Once
candidates have submitted their nomination they are encouraged to campaign in
any manner appropriate in Hall (i.e. do not fly poster in the corridors etc).
