never mind, topic was getting ridiculous. whoever was posting the anonymous messages was getting annoying, and they were wrong.

Hey

I'l come forward and admit that it was myself and a mate of mine that were downloading from you, sorry we never realised we were both downloading from the same source until just before you unshared you folders. If you would like to email me your ftp server details on dpm4 I would be grateful, or if you reshared your folders then only one of us would download from now on and only 1 files at a time.

Please let me know.

Don

ps. We're in Sallies, not in Regs.

I'll admit myself too, sorry about last night, for the reasons stated by Don. You have such a good variety of shares available, I would hate myself if I lost such a resource. My share files are always open, because I downloaded them from someone, and it's only fare that I don't kepp them from other people. That's not what file sharing is about.

Sorry again about last night. I would be happy to give you my IP address so you can locate my share files, although you might have already found it out by now.

Sharing files on the university network breaches your contract with IT Services.

Bear in mind that many of the university departments keep and eye on the Sinner...

Not anymore it's not. Was last year, not this year.

still, it is probably wise to delete your messages, especially if your true identity is quite obvious.

You forgot the secret second part:

'This is not permitted...if you make it so obvious that you are doing so that we have to get off our bums and realise you are doing it'.
