Just as it sounds really. Mine would be: posh.

Ha, I find it funny that two of us have said "cliquey" and andrew said "sociable". I guess perhaps it feels sociable if you're within the clique.

yeah i agree- there are so many cliques within regs that the cliques themselves don't realise they are acting in such a manner.

though from my experience- andrew you aren't really guilty of this as you've been fairly civil to me when I've engaged with you.

i am by no means in any of the cliques. i'm in fourth year and the vast majority of my friends stay outwith regs. i merely said sociable because its always regs people who are in the union when i'm there, i always see about 35/40 or so regs people in the union every friday night.

yeah that's true actually... But what can you do? I'm also fourth year and have friends both in and outwith hall but I do think it's quite cliquey and hard to get to know new people after the inital few weeks of term.

It's only cliquey if you don't talk to people, just be brave, no one's going to eat you...well...Tom...

I talk to people. But I tend to find people in Regs don't really want to talk to me.

sometimes people tend to get the impression that you don't want to talk to them. when i see you every now and then i might just say 'hey, how are you' but not much more because you seem like you'd prefer not to talk.

I'd say that Regs definitely is cliquey. I can't deny being in one, but its something you can't really help. I'm always happy to make new friends, and if people want to hang out with me/us i don't make an effort to get rid of them.

I think he was talking about the last thread on the regs board that was deleted. And why shouldn't I be infuriated???I have made an effort to get on with anyone in regs, and I've tried to engage with you on some occasions Bryn, only to be blanked, or just stared at. So stop blaming everyone else for not speaking to you, especially those who have made an effort.

P.S. this is the last thing I'm going to say on the thread, so don't worry about it spiralling into a hate thread.
