Do stuff for your elections!

You are all very vocal in your desire to be more involved in union elections. Therefore . . .

If anyone would like to help out for an hour or two on a polling station on Friday, and/or help out at the count on Friday night then that would be great.

Please either post your contact details on this thread or e-mail me at 'saelect'.

I look forward to seeing you all getting involved on Friday in whatever capacity.

Yeah right! It's St Patricks day!!! Which I call St Parties day! That's what I'll be doing anyway! Well done to everyone else though for fighting the cause and all that.

because it was hijacked and because this board is for candidates and the eoc to post threads, not random graduates, for the discussion of elections.

tobias - i wasn't referring to you...

graduates, especially life members of the association are of course allowed to ask questions of candidates, I would never deny you that.

I have practicals 10-1 and 2-4 but I can help out clearing up the Bute polling station if that's of any help.

It has been brought to my attention that certain people refer to me as a legend. Should you meet one of these people, maintain a safe distance and telephone the police. Under no circumstances attempt to deal with them by yourself.

Technically, graduates only if life members of the Association are allowed to ask questions. But thanks.

How exciting! I can ask a question. But are you really telling me someone has deleted posts/a thread because the wrong people are asking questions?

The rules actually state that only members of the Association may campaign.

I would have thought that anybody could ask questions on the Sinner. It is of course up to the candidates whether they choose to answer them.

no that wasn't why i said the thread was deleted. cain hijacked a thread that was made to look like it had been originally posted by the eoc. then he used it to start posting messages that weren't of relevance to the elections. i'm assuming that's why it was deleted.

my comment about random graduates was about them posting unnecessary threads, not posting questions which is indeed what this board is for.

anyways this thread was supposed to be about requesting people to help out with the polling and the count, so I'll now refrain from further hijacking it.
