climbing wall

I'm starting this fall and I was just wondering if there is a climbing wall at St. Andrews or nearby that students use

Not sure about near by, but the one they say they have in the sports centre (on the AU website) is CRAP. It's just grips bolted into a brick wall...

I havent been to either but yes there is one in Dundee and also a couple in Edinburgh. The AU one is er... interesting. Plenty of cliffs and rock around tho :)

That's overglamorising it a bit: while it's got grips bolted onto the wall in some places, other points just have bricks sticking out or missing. Yes, it really is that bad.

Just go down to castlesands beach, there are about a million different places to climb there, made all the more exciting by the fact you could actually die if you fall

hey man well ive been 2 ratho in edinburugh and avertical world in dundee, ratho is out of the way but fantsastic, dundee is pretty good and really easy get 2, a return fare on hte bus is about 4 quid

I think it might take a few hours to get there but it is the best one in Scotland and in one of the best in Europe.
