Hi, I'm going to be in B10. What's it like? Is anyone out there my roommate?

Welcome all you first years. Hopefully you will be as wonderful as last years' first years in Sallies. I'm a third year who will coincidentally be in Sallies for the third year in a row. If you have any questions unrelated to your room (unless you live on GF-Ground Floor as that's where I have always lived) feel free to ask.

B10 is a big corner room on the 2nd floor (3rd if you're American), at the end of the corridor. It's part of a small section with about 4 other rooms and one bathroom. Lots of windows and daylight, west-facing, overlooks the entrance path and the lawn in front of hall, close to the Music Centre so occasionally accompanied by strains of music practice and even the odd party.

Yeah. It's a fair-sized room that overlooks the garden that is between Sallies and the Quad.

Whoa, I'm in D15a. Should I be worried; is it like the basement or something??

D Block is a bit like an annexe to the main hall. It's not actually separate but you can't get from there to the main hall without going outside. Although there are moves to open up to students a staff-only corridor to allow better access between D block and main hall.
