fancy "...@st.and.ac.uk" email addresses, and, if so, when will I get mine? Will I have to wait until I arrive in September?

The e-mail addresses are assigned in September when you arrive, and yes, all students get them.

The email is recognised as both @st-andrews.ac.uk and @st-and.ac.uk. This means little except that you can always register 2 Facebook accounts with two seperate emails under the St A network should you want to.
