Christmas Holiday Dates

Hey Guys
I'll be studying as a postgrad in St Andrews this year and am booking my christmas flights at the moment. The academic calender says that term finishs on friday the 22nd of december, is this a realistic term end date to book flights around or is everything likely to have wound up by then? Bearing in mind that the 22nd is a Friday is it worth staying in town an extra day for end of term celebrations?

There will usually be something on in the union on the last day of term, but many people will choose to go home before then. Depends how far you've got to travel, too, I suppose - term ends later this year, quite close to Christmas.

No.

You'll be glad to leave St andrews by then and have a break from it. YOu'll be tired after a hard semester's work.
Go home and have a rest as soon as you can.
