French Question

Postby cate on Sun Oct 14, 2007 3:05 pm

Does anyone know how the marking system works in French?

I'm wondering how hard it is to pass the class. At this point I'm only worried about getting my credits this semester, not continuing on in the later modules.

The School handbook will have the information you need.
I thought I saw your name on a loaf of bread today but when I looked again it said 'Thick Cut'

Hey, the good news is that 1st year French isn't too taxing. There's quite a lot of work to be done but it's not too hard to do ok in it. You need a 5 to pass, but even if you don't really try you could probably get better than that anyways. The tutors can be quite harsh at marking sometimes, but they're usually a little gentler in 1st year. It's when you start going beyond 1st year that it gets harder.
