Cheapest Hair Cut in St Andrews

Postby HarryP on Tue Oct 23, 2007 9:36 am

Who does the cheapest haircut (for a male) in St Andrews? How much is it?

I'm not looking for anything particularly fancy - just a straight-forward shave all over, so cheapest is best!

Thanks

Ask at the nearest sheep farm, i'm sure they'll shear you for a quid.

Otherwise possibly the whisky barber?

Have had a cut at the Barber's Pole for 4 quid, though won't be the most quality cut you've ever had!

I can't remember the name of the street, but if you go down abbey street you will come to kinnesburn road. Opposite there is a BB Hall? There is a street to the left of that (it leads up to a playpark and finally onto the road that albany park is on). Anyhow, on that street there are a few shops, newsagents, launderette and hairdresser. The hairdresser is definateley the cheapest I've seen in St Andrews (seem to remember it was about £15)but have never been there myself.

John the barber is good, if you come in regular you'll probably get a discount and he gives quite good banter.

Elsewise, buy a set of clippers and get your housemate to take them over.
