Hogmanay in St Andrews

Postby pea on Tue Dec 28, 2004 4:51 pm

Forget Edinburgh, St Andrews is the place to be this Hogmanay!

...

I'm hoping.

Anyway, I will be returning on Thursday and was wondering if anyone knew of anything happening on Hogmanay? Or even if the pubs will be open so I can go out and get lashed?

Alas, i will not be celebrating - hold the tears. Nope, i brought my wee bro up for the new year cos its the only time we both have off from uni & school. Where do ya all stay? not that many halls are open or are you in flats?

D'oh! Just managed to get on the net and so have missed open-close shenangigans...still, was at work for most of the day across the road so wouldn't have been much use. But still, am here for New Year's Eve and still don't know where any parties are! What's up with that?!
