Summer: Anyone Alive?

Postby Phantasm on Sun Jun 26, 2005 7:51 pm

Anyone alive in Fife Park, it's suspiciously quiet considering the folk living here over summer...

I miss the lack of a nights sleep due to drunken folk staggering about slamming doors and putting on loud music.

Short and sweet reply.

Anyway, what is your reason for being trapped in the Gulag over the summer?

I'm in House 5, working under the excitingly ambiguous title of a 'General Assistant', if that helps to narrow it down.

Working in Fife Park over the summer was one of my best summers ever. I am begining to think this one may be better but we will have to wait and see. How are you guys finding it?

So far it's been great. Already used the facilities bar for a good night out. Shame about the 11pm closing time though.

Highlight thus far must be swimming in the sea destroyed with all my clothes on two saturday's ago.

Good times.

Did this last summer too, was quite fun. Better weather this year so far :D (apart from tonight - not looking so good for the barbecue).
Ah, the boozy night. The smell of Brillo in the morning was not so good. Shame about the bar not accepting cards and the nearest cash machine being at New Hall. And the lack of cherry brandy.
Talking of working here before, Dalgleish is up this weekend :D

p.s. I am now on facebook

Ok, there is absolutely no way you could have a barbecue right now.

Indeed, we are scoffing the burgers and sausages we purchased for the BBQ now. No salmon though, I mean tsk, what's all that about?

Well done, you figured out who I am. Now, all I need to do is remember your trigger word in order to make you jump about foolishly...

I just had my salmon and 2 corn-on-the-cobs. Very nice it was too. I even bought alcohol, but I don't really feel like drinking it alone in my room - bit sad, eh?
The trigger word only works if I am drunk and do not need to go to the toilet.

I'm the same as regards to the alcohol in the room situation, very boring!
Got 20 bottles of beer which I will save for a time when everyone fancies being silly and drunk.

We should all partake in the Facilities Bar again, twas amusing the first time round. Sad thing is I cant think of the damn trigger word as I was drunk enough myself to forget it within five minutes of making it up :(

Meh.

We definitely need to make more use of the bar. I'm up for drinking almost anytime (will probably be out in town on friday though).

If you get me drunk enough, I may tell you the word. Would look very silly jumping about with my floppy arms though.

Excellent. I am also up for drinking anytime, just give me an excuse. Name the time and the place!

When are your days off next week? I'm on catering. Sniffle. :(

If you're drunk you will tell me the word?

Well thats settled then, I will make it one of my missions get you drunk... :)
