Unbelievable, this happens the very weekend most 3rd year physicists are sent to the Stalag Burn House and made to "talk".

Will have to miss this one, and I was so looking forward to actually hearing the swearing...

No one should have to pay.

Donations are welcome then, if you'd like to subsidise it :P . We can't pay for it solely with current funds.

For one, posters. I can testify for that - I had to pay for them out my own pocket this afternoon, WiredSoc now owes me money x.x

This isn't COMMUNIZM yet guys, you still have to pay for things. WITH MONEY.

Does wiredsoc have to hire venue 2? Is that part of the cost?

Any games other than Wolf? My laptop can handle basically anything, she's a powerful bugger.

I'll be bringing her and my headset along on the day :D

Wolf, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, PES5, Unreal Tournament, and probably some more I've forgotten. Our lovely Webmistress/Publicity Officer will confirm soon I'm sure :)

Aye, the original UT indeed. ITS are providing a wired network connection to V2 for the event, we'll probably have a wireless access point running off that as well.

Dude, what's with the sudden flood of compliments coming my way from the rest of the committee? This a case of butter up publicity, huh?

Pro-Evolution 5 - I believe this will be someone's laptop (Jamies?) hooked up to a projector.
Unreal Tournament
Wolf (naturally).

I think we're also going to have a x-box 360 sitting around being all pretty and Mircosoft. I'm seeing my way into providing Halo and Halo 2, because they just rock.

Inevitably :(

Am I the only one here who's got C&C Generals: Zero Hour? A good LAN can be had from that.

Halo2 will run on a 360 (well, it will after a patch via xbox live, which i'm not sure has been released yet), but not halo 1. Ergo, I trust you meant using a couple of normal Xboxes for Halo?
