Does anyone know if the take away deal is available on Saturdays?

Not to the best of my knowledge. It used to be Sunday - Thursday last time I checked.

Anyone mind telling me what this "deal" you speak of is? My interests have been perked, my ignorance must be vanquished.

Sunday to Thursday

£6.95

Veg/chicken pakora
one standard curry
rice
naan bread.

To be honest though, if there are an even number of you ordering and it isn't Sun through Thurs then you are just as well getting set meal A. That is £15.95 for twice as much as above and also poppadoms with onion dip stuff.

It says on my menu that take away is available everyday, and I'm sure we have had curries on Saturday's in the past.

The notice up on the noticeboard in the Jahangir says Sunday to Thursday (witnessed yesterday) and I see no mention at all of the student deal on the menu.

Does this mean there is no student deal anymore or that it's simply "off menu"?

The student deal was a complete rip, you only ever got about 4 bits of meat in the main dish and everything else was scaled down as well.

Their meal deal for two is much better.
